  • Our aim at Cal Serrat is to provide you with the best organic meat produced through the natural and organic farming of our lambs. Our sheep graze every day of the year, eating organically grown whole grain, fodder, straw and alfalfa, while the lambs suckle from their mothers right up until the last day.

  • Our lambs are bred and raised in the best possible way.

  • Our lamb meat is officially certified as organic.

  • We are farmers with the ability to offer a quality product while ensuring the best welfare for our livestock and care for the land.

  • From start to finish, our animals are 100% grass-fed, with gentle treatment of the sheep, grazing multiple species in concert benefits both the land and the animals improving forage quality, animal health, and soil fertility.
  • Our herd is free range. The animals graze outside and are not forced to reproduce intensively. Sheep and goats breed at their own natural pace. Young sheep graze in fields close to the barn to be safe from predators.
  • Livestock is personally delivered to the slaughterhouse and we cut the meat ourselves: hand-cut chops, neck and breast. There are no intermediaries, so we are able to control the process and guarantee the quality and traceability of the meat right up until delivery to the customer.

  • Our meat is ideal grilled or for the barbecue. Thinly sliced it is good for the hotplate, while shoulder, leg and neck are perfect for roasting in the oven.

  • Furthermore, we can offer goat meat whose low fat content makes it sweet and tasty and a source of high quality protein. This is usually roasted in the oven or fried in breadcrumbs.
